Luxury 2BR & garden at Alnwick Castle Walls

We really enjoyed our stay but felt it was expensive given some of the shortfalls. Positive: Fabulous location. Stylish and comfortable Easy to get in. Clean Negative: I raised a concern about the plug fault and this was ignored. It certainly wasn’t luxury. It was nice, stylish and comfortable but there was nothing high end about it so the description was misleading. The local car park that you suggested was max 24 hours and not for the length of our stay as you had communicated incorrectly. I therefore had to move the car a couple of times - not ideal. No wardrobes or nice drawers. I could hear the neighbours through the wall chatting.

Luxury stay in Alnwick Positive: I am retired and enjoy road trips around this country. Staying in hotels,cottages and apartments. Having decided on a location and accomodation I find the correspondence regarding confirmation can be a strong indicator for my stay. In this case I felt like a visiting friend or family member. The messages were warm and welcoming. Sadly this is not the case with certain providers. The location was as described and adjacent the castle walls. The castle entrance a mere 50m away. Parking at the property to unload was not possible however,I was able to park for 2 hour free, a short distance away. Parking is on my list of criteria when choosing acommodation, in this case road parking was within 80m and free. The apartment was one of a number in a converted building. Thoughtfully laid out and finished to an exceptional standard throughout. The bathroom being particularly luxurious with the benefit of an additional under stairs cloaks on the ground floor. The kitchen had everything you would need and probably more. Thoughtfuly; milk, tea coffee etc had been supplied. When leaving, I foolishly left an item behind. I was contacted by phone and the item kept it safe till I returned to collect later that morning. Negative: I am happy to confirm that there were no issues that dissapointed me.

Great location, great accomodation and so well equiped. Positive: Great location right next ti Alnwick Castle and very close to the town shops, bars and restaurants. The property itself was very comfortable, modern and well equipped. The decor was very tasteful. There is a private courtyard fir guests use which in thr centre of town is a big bonus. Negative: Nothing
