Coastal Getaway in central Troon

Requires huge improvement. Positive: The appartment is in a fabulous location as a base to explore the west coast of Scotland. Despite being on a main road there wasnt any road noise. The bed was very comfortable however the mattress was smaller than the bed frame and you are forever catching your legs when walking past it. Negative: The appartment is very tired and the images on booking.com are some what old. Huge carpet stains in the living/dining room. Dirty marks on the walls. Very poor workmanship throughout. Smeared silicone around the sink and wall tiles. Plastic trunking sat on top of skirting boards. Damaged kick boards in the kitchen. The dining table was badly marked and when we cleaned it paint was coming off. The attention to detail is none existent..from blunt carving knifes to a pedal bin that didnt work. Both curtain tie backs where broken ..one being very dangerous. There are two small wardrobes either side of the bed ,one had 10 coat hangers in it the other a hoover bucket mop bin bag of old rags and one coat hanger. The chrome toilet roll holder in the shower room was disgusting rusty from top to bottom , I hate to think whats made it rusty . The shower has a sign on it making you aware that the on/off button is faulty and it needs several presses to switch it off , the amount of water thats wasted is not very environmentally friendly. The list goes on. I can provide images of all the above.

Does exactly what is described Positive: Good clear instructions Negative: Parking … I did not have an issue but I can see why future guests may be unhappy about parking away from the venue
